Unlike the other options in Temecula, Lake Oak Meadows was designed to be a wedding venue first and a winery second. The design of the property accommodates perfect convenience for weddings. The getting-ready house is a short walk from the ceremony site and the cocktail / reception area is just a short walk from there.
Giant kudos to the groundskeeping staff. Every corner of the property is literally a beautiful backdrop for photos with seasonal flowers in bloom throughout most of the year!!!
My recommendations... resist the temptation to hiring an outside coordinator. Lake Oak Meadows provides outstanding on-site coordinators. Mike is the resident DJ. He is low-key, easy to get along with and does a good job at reading the crowd so the dance floor stays packed. For all other vendors, just trust their vendor list... they are all tried and true pros that know the venue very well.
